AMAZING FEBRUARY LIBRARY EVENTS
There are an amazing number of really wonderful events scheduled for February at the Lafayette Library and Learning Center. There are two programs especially for women, an amazing program with a celebrated photographer and a program on the Golden Gate Bridge. BREAKFAST CASSEROLE RECIPE
  Christmas Breakfast Casserole 2lbs. of ground pork sausage ( I use a mix of sweet and spicy) 2T spicy dijon mustard 1/2 t salt 4 eggs beaten 2 cups of milk 5-6 cups of french bread toasted and cubed on the large side ( can mix different types of bread too for variety) 10 ounces of sharp cheddar cheese Directions 1. Crumble sausage into a skillet and cook over medium heat until evenly browned; drain. 2. In a large bowl mix together mustard, eggs, salt, and milk. Add the sausage, bread cubes, and cheese and stir to coat evenly( may need to add more milk). Pour into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Cover, and chill in the refrigerator for 8 hours, or overnight. 3. Preheat oven to 360 degrees. 4. Cover, and bake 45-60 minutes. Uncover, and reduce temperature to 325 degrees. Bake for an additional 20-30 minutes. Should serve 8 ! Call Kim O. with questions :)

ROADRUNNERS RULE AT THE AVENUE
Rounding out a busy RoadRunner weekend a hardy band attacked the Avenue of the GIants with very satisfactory results: Caron, Matt, Alyse, Betsy, Linda D. and Sam,Dyane, Kelly, Sue and Ed Katabah and Mary Carrillo who won her age group. Along with those who were at the Devil Mountain we had great representation at the events. ANd remember the old motto: to start is to compete and to finish is to win! Kudos to all the winners!
